Valentine’s DINNER DANCE - FEBRUARY
Each year, a planning committee of volunteer parents works for months to secure donations, perfect recipes, design decorations and transform a church gym into an exquisite dining hall culminating in the annual Valentine's Dinner Dance.
The choir hosts and serves a delicious dinner where you can dance the night away with your sweetheart or just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere surrounded by family and friends! Our DJ spins a mix of all your favorite genres – from timeless classics to today's hits – so there's something for everyone on the dance floor! This highly anticipated event features an ever-popular silent auction with an array of incredible items and unforgettable experiences up for bid - not to mention opportunity drawings for a chance to win some truly fabulous prizes! This fundraiser has been a Christ UMC tradition since 2007 and some even call it the social event of the year!

Rummage sales - MAY & September
Our semi-annual fundraiser two day sale is actually a year-round endeavor collecting and storing donations, then spending several days unpacking and displaying all the donated items for sale.
At our rummage sales, you can expect useful items and rare finds! We typically have furniture, home decor, kitchen, housewares, garden, electronics, camping, sports, tools, office, scrapbooking, seasonal decorations, books, games, puzzles, toys, jewelry, collectibles and so much more! There is usually a bake sale and plant sale, too! On Saturdays, we feature a $5 SPECIAL - fill a brown paper grocery bag for just $5!

We gratefully accept donations for our rummage sales, held twice a year to raise funds for choir operating costs and summer tour. Your gently used items help provide unforgettable musical and travel experiences for our ringers — and we couldn’t do it without your support!
*Because we’re a small youth choir with limited volunteer and transportation resources, we are only able to offer one scheduled pick-up or drop-off day per month (excluding December and June, when our students' schedules are especially full with Christmas concerts and summer tour season - we won't have pick-up's available in June or Dec).
We kindly ask for your understanding — last-minute or on-demand pick-ups require us to ask the same small group of students and drivers to do extra work, which isn’t always sustainable. We want to respect their time, schoolwork, and musical commitments — and keep our choir running strong!
What You Can Do:

- Need to donate sooner? You can drop off items that will fit in the donation closet at church (but please not in the hallways!) during operating hours. We can sometimes arrange to have someone meet you there outside of the church's operating hours.
Ed & Trudy Duncan Scholarship

Ed and Trudy Duncan devoted their lives to the betterment of youth. Whether teaching in public school classrooms, leading church youth groups, creating and nurturing The Wesley Bell Ringers, advocating for youth before the Utah State Legislature, or finding teaching moments on cross country concert tours, their constant goal has been to allow every young person the best opportunities to learn, grow and achieve. |
For nearly 60 years the Duncans have shared that passion with Christ United Methodist Church. Generations of young people in this congregation have been and continue to be blessed, by Ed and Trudy’s ministry. There are countless well documented examples and stories of their ministry known to all of us. There are perhaps as many or more moments where they quietly changed young lives with unconditional love and assistance when it was most needed.
With this scholarship fund, we honor Trudy and Ed Duncan's example as well as pass along that passion for youth each year by helping at least one young student to learn, grow and achieve.
The scholarship ($1,000) is available for qualified applicants, to be used for the purpose of funding any non-for-profit post-secondary education (this includes but is not limited to technical colleges, certificate programs, and institutions that offer both undergraduate and post-graduate programs).
